ANUSCHKA SCHWEIZER
I grabbed my backpack and hit the road. Six months on the road, which proved to be a very helpful training ground for developing intercultural understanding – and not only in the international project environment.
As a firm believer in lifelong learning, I take time out for active learning and continuing education from time to time. However, I realize every time that:
Expertise helps, but long-term success in my job comes with practical experience, and in particular is based on passion and feeling for people.
For me, over the years and with the experience I have gained, it is all distilled into this one bit of solid knowledge:
A person can only think and act objectively and be productive
if he is engaged emotionally.
